This is something typical for us, and you will notice many glass systems by us with the steel structure in bolt fixing design. It is simple, but requires extremely special workmanship. This is something we guarantee for all projects.

Meyer is the only lift company in Singapore which customises finishes to this scale, and this is an example of what we can achieve. Glass and steel come together to complement the aesthetics of this modern home. In the world of the rich and famous at Sentosa cove, we really enjoyed putting this lift together.

Full glass, from top to bottom. A fantastic project, and one of our favourites. This is one of those times where the photos just do not do justice to our achievement. The design of the cabin and car frame alone were a work of art, made by a small custom design workshop from Madrid. With the use of the ALGI vvvf inverter drive, we made very smooth travel and low power consumption a norm even for the Float system.

Chinatown Heritage Center 2015

ARCHITECT: KINGSMEN CREATIVES

The agenda of the project was to revamp our old heritage center, and create a new experience to better understand our history. Kingsmen Creatives did an incredible job with this project for the Singapore Tourism Board. The existing elevator from Otis had a hydraulic tank as big as the entire machine room. New technology (Eco Spin - www.algi-lift.de) allowed us to use a smaller tank and integrate a vvvf inverter drive. A classic modernisation project in making 20-year old lifts, new again.

An example of how our lifts require just one wall for support. All machinery is placed on one side, allowing for unblocked views of the entire residence and exterior through your travel. The hydraulic power unit in this case is also inside the lift shaft, making a machine room-less installation a possibility even for the Float system.

A full on overhaul of a project, this property sits on the southern-most point of Singapore. Located in Sentosa Cove, and along Ocean Drive, this panoramic lift offers the most magical of views. Being fully panoramic, you are able to see most of the residence, swimming pool and ocean. Completed in a minimalist designed lift structure with round bolt glass cladding all around, this is a keeper for sure.

For mega developers, Tradewinds Malaysia, we were sought out to provide a solution with minimal pit depth but maximum performance. This is a great example of a low-medium sized pit depth which allows for high speed travel. Frameless glass cabin and full glass doors make for an iconic project in the upcoming Nusajaya, Johor – for this showflat.

Customisation at its finest: The client was inspired by a lift that he saw in Brazil, and we got to work based on a photograph he took. Direct acting piston meant advanced planning to allow for a bore hole 3 meters deep was necessary. What this allowed for design was unlimited in possibility: An open concept lift shaft, a frameless glass cabin, and under-driven door operators complete this specially designed system.

Master architects created this beautiful house in the heart of Bukit Timah. Bold designs of the I-beam lift structure help to create a massive impact when entering the home. This layout is a typical example of how to integrate a lift into any home within the stairs — with results that are both visually pleasing and space saving.

The beauty of the float lifts is on full display here: Having a hydraulic lift means that you don’t see ropes, counterweights, and all those extra mechanical parts of a traction roped lift system. All the machinery is kept on one side, and the rest is history. This lift serves guests in a five star hotel on Singapore’s prime estate — Scotts Road. Attention to detail and meeting the expectations of RSP kept us on our toes, and provided us much experience for future projects.

Basic cream finishes blend in perfectly with the architectural theme of this project. The special aspect to this system is the adjacent opening cabin, which gives way to 90 degree entrances that overcome architectural barriers. The cabin also included a wall of glass which overlooks a small courtyard and art showcase hanging on display on your way to the top.

Designed as part of the house, the lift well is partially open at the rear to allow for an unblocked view of the entire house while it travels. Standard big vision glass doors are used within the reinforced concrete entrances on each landing. Mechanical components are exposed for tourbillon style appreciation.
